Noble Conflict by Malorie
Blackman
Review by Little M
Kaspar Wilding is the main
character in Noble Conflict. He is a Guardian and his job is to protect the
citizens from the Insurgents. The Insurgents are a group of terrorists who want
to take over the city but the Guardians are there to stop them. When his best
friend is killed in a car crash Kaspar meets a girl who saves his life. This
girl keeps coming and going but he knows she is bad. She is a terrorist among
the Insurgents. As Kaspar finds out who this mysterious girl really is he also
finds out what actually happened to his mum and who the rebels are and what
they want.
This was a good read and a
brilliant dystopian. Every page made me want to read more. I loved the action
and mysteries to it and I would love another one to come out. It is definitely
one of Malorie Blackman’s best novels. It is completely different to Noughts
and Crosses.
Dystopian fans will love it
and I think secondary school kids would like it more than primary school kids because
the main character is nineteen and the plot is about an older teen’s life.
